Okay, i gonna ask because i dont know much about the world but... is the black leaking from their face a curse or something?

Edit: Oh, that is awesome! Both the art AND the story are super interesting.

Sort of! Aria and her friend Mary were killed in a cult attack that used an anti-coagulant poison gas that made victims bleed out (from every orifice, basically). As a ghost, Mary reflects the way she died, so she constantly bleeds a spectral black blood that disappears after a few moments.

Aria has the same thing, though she was taken at the moment of death by a fae (since Changeling: The Lost is about being kidnapped by the fae) to serve in the Underworld. Now that she's escaped that place and returned to the real world, she still has some elements from the way she died. The black blood doesn't hurt her and it doesn't stain anything since it only lasts a few minutes (and only other changelings can see it, anyway), but it's still kind of embarrassing for her if she loses her cool and starts bleeding everywhere.

Im actually very interested in that psychodelic series of pics you commented on previous arts. Just hope to see more cuz this type of art is super cool.
